Gerber: The baby feeding experts also have a line of baby essentials, primarily onesies, sleepers, bibs and the like. They're good for the price, but lack the quality, durability and selection of other product lines on this list.
Carters: These are the go-to items for newborns and babies. Carter's makes soft, cuddly onesies and sleepers in sweet baby prints. For older babies, they have a variety of playwear. All stand up well to many, many washings without shrinking or fading. They are easy to put on, with snaps in all the right places – and snaps that stay snapped! Good all around value and quality, available at many stores.

Children's Place: A wide variety of baby clothes in a wide variety of prints. Children's Place clothing is enormously popular both for play clothes and for essentials like sleepwear. They also offer frequent sales which make their moderately priced clothing even more appealing.
Baby Gap: The littlest version of the popular Gap line of clothing, Moms favor these for older babies and toddlers. Although there are onesies and sleepers, they tend to be solid-colored pastels and not the prints we all seem to love. Baby Gap jeans and shirts are well liked, but may not be as convenient to put on and take off as some of the other lines.

Old Navy: A sister company to The Gap, Old Navy provides good basics and good play clothes, though not necessarily as cute and trendy. Their real specialty is playground comfort.
Greendog: Greendog is Macy's in-store clothing line for children. Because of this, it offers the same value that a supermarket generic brand does. These are very wearable garments in a number of cute styles. A popular choice with budget-savvy moms.

Healthtex: Any company that is still selling reliable clothing after 90 years in the business must be doing something right! Their styles may not follow the latest trends, but these clothes play well. All are durable and easy care , and even include such features as adjustable waists in many of their pants. Shop Now at Wal-Mart.
Osh Kosh: First known for its denims, especially their overalls, Osh Kosh is still the company to look to for these basics. The overalls for babies have the bib-front hardware that allows them to "grow" as baby does, and the leg snaps make changes a breeze. This company offers a full line of other baby items as well, but it is in their denims that they have truly made their reputation.

Pumpkin Patch: Focusing on affordable, Pumpkin Patch offers practical clothing in cute styles that may cost much more at other stores. They carry a basic wardrobe including cottons, leggings, rompers, and denim overalls or jumpers.
Garanimals: This line works on a unique concept. Each animal represents a line within the collection, and all styles within that same animal line coordinate with any other piece. Although it's designed to make it easier for older kids to assemble an outfit on their own, it also makes life simpler for the mom who is digging through a drawer while trying to dress a fussy baby.
